Clinton School To Host Consumer Confidence Panel
The Clinton School of Public Service will host a panel discussion on Arkansas consumer confidence next Monday, Oct. 24.
The panel will be anchored by Talk Business’ third quarter Arkansas Consumer Confidence Survey, which analyzes consumer attitudes in Arkansas on a host of personal finance and economic issues. Roby Brock of Talk Business, French Hill, CEO of Delta Trust and Bank, and Dr. Jay Barth, professor of political science at Hendrix College, will conduct the panel discussion.
Brock will provide an overview of the latest results with comparisons and contrasts of the previous two quarters. Hill will offer context and analysis related to how these results have shaped and will shape business decision-making. Barth will offer cross-tab results from the survey that will highlight what is driving consumer anxiety and how that could affect future elections.
The Clinton School event will be an advance preview of this quarter’s survey as our release is slated for later next week. We’ve added 2 new questions to this quarter’s survey related to the impact of job losses and outsourcing. You can prep for the event by reviewing our most recent quarterly surveys at these links:
