Slaydon joins Sparks Health System
Sparks Health System announced Wednesday (Spet. 21) that Cindy Slaydon is joining the hospital as the new chief nursing executive.
Slaydon, RN, MSN, CHE, brings more than 30 years of nursing and operational experience in the health care field to her new position at Sparks.
A self-described, “action-oriented, people-focused leader,” Slaydon and her husband moved to Arkansas from Texas, where she most recently served as an independent health care consultant and as a senior vice president for Clinical Operations and Quality for a leading healthcare company. She has held a number of executive and operational roles in hospitals including chief operating officer and chief nursing officer.
Slaydon received both bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler.
