Dr. Cross joins Sparks Health System

Sparks Health System is pleased to welcome another physician to our outstanding team.

Bruce Cross, M.D., a board-certified radiation oncologist, has joined Sparks Health System. He is scheduled to begin seeing patients in October at the new Sparks Radiation Treatment Center.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Cross was inspired to study radiation oncology following his mother’s battle with pancreatic cancer. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine and performed his residency at the renowned Cleveland Clinic.

“I make it my mission to offer hope to each patient, and to do everything possible to make the entire experience easier,” Cross said in a statement.

Cross will soon be available by appointment at the Sparks Radiation Treatment Center. The new facility is equipped with the first and only TrueBeam radiotherapy system in Arkansas — technology that targets tumors with unequalled precision and speed.
