Hedberg Clinic Set to Open Second Location

There’s good news for allergy and asthma sufferers in Fayetteville and Springdale.

“The most exciting part of this is that we have a lot of Washington County patients we’re often only able to see in Springdale. This will open up a lot of time to make us more available to them,” Dr. Jenny Campbell said.

Campbell was talking about the second location of the Hedberg Allergy and Asthma Center, which is expected to open in Fayetteville in January. The new facility, on Joyce Boulevard, will be about 3,800 SF and essentially a replica of the Hedberg clinic in Rogers.

Dr. Curtis Hedberg said the expansion required an investment of about $1.2 million. The project is being financed by Legacy National Bank and overseen by Milestone Construction Co. LLC.

The Hedberg clinic provides full services for allergy care, asthma and immunology. In addition to its traditional hours in Rogers, HAAC also has made it services available in Springdale on Wednesday afternoons and evenings.

That will change when the new location opens. The Fayetteville branch will be open Monday-Thursday and until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Also in January, HAAC will add the services of Dr. Adesua Wejinya, who currently is completing fellowship training in Madison, Wis.

Hedberg said the expansion means a fourth doctor can be added if needed, though that ultimately might be determined by the direction reimbursements from insurance companies take.

Regardless, HAAC will maintain its core commitment to clients.

“We feel our caring approach to patients and time we spend with them to educate them about their disease has helped us have better outcomes,” Hedberg said, “simply by the patient’s ability to understand the disease process and how medications and immunotherapy work.
