Candidates For House Races Emerge (updated)
The list is far from perfect, but it’s a start.
Talk Business & Politics puts forth its initial list of State House races for the 2012 election cycle. You can view it here in spreadsheet form.
This list is a compilation of announced candidates, prospective candidates, and a myriad of potential contenders from our exhaustive list of political resources.
For starters, identifying proper district numbers was a little tricky with the newly drawn maps, so feel free to e-mail me with corrections or revisions if you see an error.
If your name is misspelled, Tolbert did it. But please send an e-mail and we’ll quickly fix it.
This list is intended to be a starting point. Obviously, more candidates will join in the fray as filing day draws nearer. And certainly we expect some prospects to re-consider and not actually run. If you are a candidate or if you are working with a potential candidate, please send us your information on the race you may be considering.
My e-mail address is [email protected]. Be sure to give me your name, district number and party affiliation. Any other background information would be welcomed.
We’re also still collecting information on State Senate candidates. You can view the most updated list at this link.
