Poultry Fed Presents Moye With Top Award
The Poultry Federation, a tri-state organization serving Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri, has recognized a Siloam Springs executive with its top honor.
Jerry Moye, president of Cobb-Vantress Inc. in Siloam Springs, was named the 2011 Industry Leader of the Year at the group’s 52nd annual Poultry Festival last month in Rogers. The award has been given each year since 1955 in recognition of outstanding achievements made by poultry and egg executives and their contributions to the industry.
Moye joined Cobb-Vantress in 1991, and has served as the company’s president since 2007, just its sixth since its founding in 1916.
Cobb-Vantress, a poultry research and development company that produces broiler breeding stock, is a subsidiary of Tyson Foods Inc. in Springdale.
