A couple of industry veterans have officially opened the doors of their new headquarters in Fayetteville.

Co-owners Blake Hanby and Jimmy Plumlee lead City Title & Closing LLC, which began operations on May 3 and moved into its permanent home – a 2,402-SF boutique office at 1450 E. Zion Road in the Park Centre development – on June 3.

Hanby has worked in the title business since 1999 and was previously the president and chief executive of Waco Title Co.

Plumlee brings more than 30 years of title and closing experience.

Pam Weeks-Doffin (closing agent), Dwayne Flynt (closing agent), Raney Forbes (closing processor) and Jessica Wooten (title agent) complete the staff.

Together the group – all of whom came from Waco Title – has a combined 114 years of experience.

“I had the good fortune that some talented, experienced and well-known people wanted to be a part of it,” said Hanby, the founder of the company.

“I wanted to be out on my own, on a smaller scale, and get back to being more involved in the daily transactions. I think our personal service will make us stand out.”

City Title will add an office in Benton County, possibly as soon as this fall, and likely “in the Pinnacle or Village on the Creeks area,” Hanby said. “Some companies want to have an office everywhere. We want to have an office in Benton County and be a Northwest Arkansas-only company.”
