The amount of damage an earthquake causes depends on the strength and duration of the earthquake, its location relative to the surface, on population density, on methods of construction and on the geophysical/ geological characteristics of the impacted area. With recent earthquakes around the world is Arkansas next? The River Valley is close to the New Madrid fault, so could it happen here? Venue: UAFS- Echols Conference Center.
