Learning Fields at Chaffee Crossing Aug 1st Saturday and Kid’s Day

We’re inviting you to the Open House to tour our demonstration gardens, learn a little bit more about the gardens, and enjoy refreshments. This Saturday, Aug. 6th, we’ll talk about "Getting Ready for Gardening in the Fall" and "Melons: What’s the Scoop?". We’re also having our Kid’s Day.
Kid’s Day will include: rock painting, building bird-feeders, making clay seed bombs, dyeing with vegetables and herbs, making a recycled pot, making memory stones (bring some trinkets to truly make it your own), and making windchimes from natural materials. There will be ‘music in the garden’. Each child will make their own ice cream.
Come and join us. We’re sure it will be FUN!!!
