Festival on the Border was created to enhance the sense of community through music and the arts, along with raising needed funds for charities throughout the Fort Smith area.

This year’s event will feature a blend of country, rock, pop and symphony musical acts at three Fort Smith venues – Harry E. Kelley River Park, the UA Fort Smith Campus Green, and the Arkansas Best Performing Arts Center.

Ten charities will benefit from the revenues generated by ticket and concession sales for the event, with sponsors covering all of the performance and production expenses. Those charities are: AR/OK Alzheimer’s Association, Bost Foundation, Children’s Emergency Shelter, First Tee of Fort Smith, Gregory Kistler Treatment Center, Good Samaritan Clinic, Helping Hands for Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Making a Difference One Kid at a Time, and the Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House.
Please be sure to thank our sponsors who have made this festival possible, and help us recognize them for their community support and help in adding to the quality of life in Fort Smith.
Major sponsors currently include: St. Edward Mercy Health System, Sparks Health System, Zero Mountain, Baldor Electric Co., Cooper Clinic and more.
