People who feel Northwest Arkansas’ host of self-serve frozen yogurt shops just aren’t enough will be happy to know two more are on the way.

Local firm ONVASI Inc. will open an Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt in Tuscany Square, off Interstate 540 in south Rogers. Grant McKay, one of the partners, said it will open in late July or early August, and employ eight to 10 people.

A building permit valued at $95,000 was issued for that address on June 20.

ONVASI also owns the Orange Leaf in Fayetteville’s Underwood Plaza. Based in Oklahoma City, the Orange Leaf chain has 72 stores nationwide, according to its website.

In Bentonville, Brad Bernards and his family are opening an independent store called Kikiberri, offering frozen yogurt they developed themselves.

The store will open next month in Crossroads Plaza.

Bernards said the store will include a private room for parties in its 1,750 SF. He expects to hire between six and 15 full- and part-time workers.
