Fayetteville developer Hank Broyles, who filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in May, owes a little more than $19.7 million to 28 creditors, according to paperwork filed July 1.

Broyles’ biggest debt is $4.5 million owed to First National Bank of Fort Smith.

In March, the Arkansas Court of Appeals dismissed an appeal by Broyles, developer John Nock and his wife, Jill Nock, and Nock Investments LLC contesting the denial of a motion to set aside a commissioner’s sale of property secured by a $4.5 million mortgage from First National Bank of Fort Smith.

Broyles also owes $3 million to former business partner Ted Belden, $3 million to Signature Bank of Arkansas, nearly $2 million to Great Southern Bank, $1.45 million to First National Bank of Crossett  – and $157,500 to his dad, former University of Arkansas athletic director Frank Broyles.

Hank Broyles claimed no income in 2010 or so far this year. In 2009, his business operations lost $64,674.

Broyles is slated to meet with his creditors July 19.
