Bayyari Retiring

Word is longtime Springdale contractor and developer Fadil Bayyari is retiring.

Jerry Horton, a vice president and realtor with Lindsey & Associates, confirmed that Bayyari told him that at 59, he is ready to retire and sell his commercial properties. Among these are the buildings at Bayyari Business Center in Johnson, where the office of Bayyari Construction Co. is located.

Born in the West Bank, Bayyari has lived in the United States for 42 years and in Northwest Arkansas for 32 years. In 2004, the Springdale School Board named an elementary school after him.
