Firehouse Subs will open in Rogers’ Promenade Pointe Shopping Center in early August.
The restaurant at 2009 Promenade Blvd. is two doors down from the building that houses TCBY, Qdoba Mexican Grill and Kate Austin Jewelry and Gifts, said Tracye Bush, the Firehouse Subs franchisee. She said her building has about 2,300 SF of space.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries will occupy the building between TCBY/Qdoba and Firehouse Subs.
Promenade Pointe, owned by Hunt Ventures, is just north of the Pinnacle Hills Promenade. Its four retail buildings face Promenade Boulevard.
Tom Allen with Pinnacle Realty Group of Rogers brokered the Firehouse Subs deal.
This will be Bush’s fifth Firehouse Subs restaurant. The Van Buren resident owns two in Fort Smith, one in Van Buren and one in Bentonville. There are also two Fayetteville locations.
Bush said the new restaurant will be her first with a drive-thru pickup window. Customers can place orders online or by phone or fax, and pick them up at the drive-thru.
Bush estimates hiring about 25 employees for the new location, and will start taking applications around July 1.
