Big Winner Runs Out of Luck
Daniel Henry Jr., the accused distributor of pounds of Mexican methamphetamine, was a lucky guy – until he wasn’t.
As reported by Arkansas Business, “Dano” Henry, who lived at Austin in Lonoke County, won $100,000 in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery last September, which inspired the name of the investigation that snared him and 19 others: “Operation Big Winner.”
But that’s not all. At his detention hearing, the day before the federal drug indictment against him was unsealed, Henry told the court he also won $450,000 playing the slots in Tunica.
Henry is a repeat offender who already has two felony convictions on his record. If convicted, he’s looking at decades in federal prison.
