A piece of the Bella Vista landscape will be getting a new look after a $1.09 million sale in April.

Bentonville auto dealer George Nunnally finally found a buyer for his vacant dealership that sat empty for more than a year. The one-acre property fronts the east side of U.S. Highway 71, near Sugar Creek Shopping Center.

Nunnally opened a satellite used-car dealership there in 1999.

Mac’s Investment Group LLC is the new owner of the property. Mac’s is led by Roger Gildehaus of Bentonville, the former Wal-Mart executive and owner of the Missouri-based Macadoodles liquor store franchise.

Whispers hears Gildehaus will keep the libations flowing at his new venture, but of a far different variety. A coffee shop is in the works along with an ice cream parlor. Those offerings will complement a gas station as the property’s anchor tenant.
