Old Center Sees New Activity

It seems spring is bringing new life to mid-town Fayetteville’s Evelyn Hills Shopping Center, which has signed several new tenants within the last couple of months.

Family Dollar is set to open a store there May 19. White’s Jewelry and an African imports store called Treasures of Africa also are on the way.

And last year’s closing of Pulse Fitness next to Ozark Natural Foods made way for the Powerhouse Gym and Fitness Center that just opened last month.

Flake & Kelley Commercial leasing agent Matt Dearnley said that so much news about commercial space has been negative, it’s good to see some positive movement.
