Heritage and History Days

Heritage and History Days May 27-28 Van Buren Public Library 10a.m.- 4 p.m. Heritage and History Days at the Van Buren Library. We want to know your family’s story here in Crawford County during the war and your family’s military history. Bring your pictures, documents, letters, notes and stories of your family’s life during the war. We will copy your documents and pictures that day and return them to you. We will video your family’s stories. Family group sheets will be copied and stored. Events will also include a reading on an original play about the history of Van Buren during the Civil War, A Civil War Skit, North and South –original Civil War music, speakers on Van Buren Civil War History and a Civil War artifacts display along with Civil War ancestor research discussion and assistance.
