The American Council of Engineering Companies of Arkansas has given Crafton Tull & Associates Inc. two awards for outstanding engineering projects.

The Olive and 28th Street Bridge project in Rogers and Bentonville, developed by Crafton Tull’s Rogers office, was selected for the Transportation Category Award.

The Links at Fayetteville project, developed by the Little Rock office, received the Special Projects Category Honor Award.

The Olive and 28th Street Bridge was a joint project by the cities of Rogers and Bentonville. It entailed building a five-lane bridge over Interstate 540, as well as street and traffic signal improvements on approaches to the bridge in each city.

Crafton Tull provided the engineering, surveying, right-of-way plans, street and signal designs, bridge design and construction administration and observation. Bill Burnett, P.E., was the project manager.

The Links at Fayetteville apartment complex was built on 152 acres for the Lindsey Management Co. This project involved multi-phase planning, a town center, internal streets and parking, reconstruction of a public street, a nine-hole golf course, utilities, ponds and drainage.

Crafton Tull performed all of the civil engineering, survey, landscape design, permitting process and construction observation. Jerry Kelso, P.E., was the project manager, assisted by staff in both the Rogers and Little Rock offices
