Sba Names Arkansas Small Business Winners

The Small Business Administration’s Arkansas District Office named their 2011 Small Business Person and Champions of the Year at a luncheon hosted by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas and emceed by Talk Business host Roby Brock.
 
J. Ann Dorsey, owner of End 2 End Business Solutions, Inc., won top honors as the Small Business Person of the Year for Arkansas. 

Dorsey’s company works with small businesses to keep their accounting records straight and she serves as a consultant in applying technology to small businesses to improve efficiencies and solutions to clients.

  • John Gardner, Good Earth Natural Foods, Inc. – Small Business Person of the Year (Runner-up)
  • Small and Minority Business Division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission – Minority Small Business Champion
  • Leotis “Nick” Nichols, Central Arkansas Healthcare System – Veteran Small Business Champion
  • Sean Cresswell, Centennial Bank – Financial Services Champion
  • Annett Pagan, Winrock International – Women in Business Champion
  • Dr. Fitzgerald Hill, Arkansas Baptist College – District Director’s Award for Entrepreneurial Leader in Education
  • Jim Sadler, Little Rock SCORE – District Director’s Award for Entrepreneurial Volunteer Leader
