Nlr Mccain Mall To Get $5.5 Million Facelift
Simon Property Group, Inc. announced today that McCain Mall, the long-time North Little Rock shopping center, will undergo a $5.5 million renovation at the end of April.
The mall renovations will include new interior and exterior features, including new flooring, lighting, a family restroom, redesigned mall entrances, signage, a new escalator and the installation of the mall’s first elevator. Renovation plans also include the addition of Regal Cinemas Movie Theatre as a new anchor.
“Through this renovation, McCain Mall will even better serve the needs of our customers, whether they are here to shop, to dine, to be entertained or just to enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment,” said Charles Tarkington, McCain Mall General Manager.
“While we intend to focus on improvements that will appeal to all segments of our shopper base, we will place special emphasis on family-friendly amenities, especially since families account for much of the region’s population base and growth, and McCain Mall is such a popular destination for families to spend time together,” Tarkington added.
The mall will remain open during the renovation.
