ConAgra Foods claims it has brands in 97 percent of U.S. households, while Kroger touts itself as the nation’s largest grocery retailer.

With the help of Bentonville-based Collective Bias, ConAgra and Kroger have launched a digital meal finder for their shoppers.

Collective Bias is a social shopper marketing firm and has a proprietary community called Social Fabric.

“Collective Bias exists to connect groups of social media influencers with the brands and retailers they use in their daily lives,” Collective Bias CEO John Andrews said, “and we’re happy to play a small role in bringing our Social Fabric members together with ConAgra Foods and Kroger.”

The meal-planning widget is housed on a microsite created by Possible Worldwide, and offers users dinner ideas by asking three questions: “What are you craving?” “How much time do you have?” and “Who’s coming to dinner?” The tool then lists appropriate meals based on the answers.

Users also can read blogger reviews of the recipes and create a shopping list with ingredients to make their selected recipe.
