College Avenue Property Sells to Kosmos Couple
A 2,818-SF building in Fayetteville that formerly housed a fast-food restaurant rang up a $395,000 sale.
U.S. Beef Corporation of Tulsa sold the property at 2136 N. College Ave., formerly an Arby’s, to Michael and Catherine Theodore.
First National Title Co. of Bentonville closed the sale.
The Theodores have owned and operated Kosmos Greekafe at 540 W. Dickson Street in Fayetteville for five years.
Michael Theodore said no decision has been made on whether to move the restaurant to the College location, or to operate two separate locations.
Renovations at the College property are under way, mostly related to the exterior. The building should be open by July 1.
J Circle Plaster & Drywall Inc. of Jonesboro is remodeling the exterior.
RazorRooter of Fayetteville, owned by Jon Vinson, is the plumbing subcontractor.
Signature Starts
Signature Builders LLC, led by developer Devon Ross, recently purchased three building permits valued at a combined $550,290 for the construction of three single-family homes in Liberty Bell Estates South.
The addresses of the construction projects are 6102, 6103 and 6104 Sage Drive in southwest Rogers.
The size of the one-story homes will be in the 1,900 to 2,200 SF range and will list between $205,000 and $230,000.
Construction should be complete by the end of May.
Amenities include hardwood floors, granite countertops, insulated garage door and walls, covered patio wired for audio and cable, and brick and stone exterior.
Brad’s Plumbing in Lowell, owned by Brad Littrell, is the plumbing contractor.
Marcus Necessary and Heather Campbell, agents with Weichert Realtors — The Griffin Company, are the exclusive listing agents.
Pinnacle Property
A home in the Pinnacle subdivision in southwest Rogers was used to help secure a $2 million funding agreement.
The Martin Family Revocable Living Trust, led by Bobby Martin Jr. and his wife, Marjorie, obtained the one-year loan from Arvest Bank of Fayetteville.
The 5,474-SF home at 6 Nottingham Lane was built in 2004 and last appraised in 2006 for $1.04 million.
The Martins bought the property from Wayne and Patsy Welsher in December 2010 for $1.23 million.
The Welshers bought the one-story home and 0.52-acre lot in July 2007 from Richard L. Clifford for $1.18 million.
