U of A Mental Health Clinical Coordinator to Speak at Hobbs on the Restorative and Healing Qualities of Being in Nature
 
          A growing number of psychologists believe that many of the current problems facing people today – depression, anxiety, and stress – are due, in part, to our alienation from Nature.
       If your answer to the question “When was the last time you really felt alive and energized?” relates to an experience in nature, you are in the company of the vast majority of Americans. Donald Wleklinski, Mental Health Clinical Coordinator, at the University of Arkansas will address this fascinating issue and explain why the mind needs Nature in his presentation, “Restorative and Healing Powers of Being in Nature”.
