George Named Head of The Jones Center Council

John George recently was announced as the 2001-2012 chair of The Jones Center’s development council.
The council’s primary purpose is to assist the center in fundraising and public relations.
“John has a true passion for the mission of The Jones Center and will be an excellent leader for this outstanding group of 21 professionals from across Northwest Arkansas,” TJC chief advancement officer Kelly Kemp-McLintock said in a news release.
George is executive vice president for Hunt Ventures LLC and is also well-known as the public address announcer for the Arkansas Razorback basketball and football teams.
TJC also announced recently it has been awarded a $250,266 grant by the Walmart Foundation and a $100,000 grant by the Foundation for the Mid South.
