Master Craftsman Duane Hidelberg of Natural Dam, Arkansas, will present a demonstration on the making the Windsor chair on Saturday, February 26, 10:00-5:00.

Mr. Hidelberg is listed in Early American Life magazine as one of the top two hundred traditional craftsmen of furniture, both painted and formal, in the United States. An example of his work is the reproduction of Judge Isaac C. Parker’s chair at the Fort Smith National Historic Site.

Calvin Alley will discuss the woodworking tools which belonged to his father, the late Charles Alley and are exhibited in the Museum of Early American Tools. The amazing collection offers fine examples of nineteenth-century tools collected over many years.

The event is included in museum admission, $5 adults, $2 children, under six-free.
