Summit Medical Center issues employee awards
Summit Medical Center has announced three employee awards.
The Nurse of the Year award went to Janet Allen. Allen has been taking care of patients at the hospital for nine years.
Jennifer Bush, patient care tech, was named Associate of the Year. Bush has been working at the hospital for four years.
The Manger of the Year award went to Linda Dickerson, a registered nurse and director of the Emergency Department. Dickerson has been at Summit Medical Center for 27 years starting as a staff nurse.
“Linda provides calm, collected leadership to the very visible Emergency Department of the hospital,” said Harlo McCall, chief nursing officer at Summit Medical Center.
Summit Medical Center is a fully accredited, 103-bed acute care hospital operating in Van Buren and owned by Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associations.
