Join other Eagle Scouts at the inaugural "Gathering of Eagles" event. We will meet at Arvest Bank, 4th floor boardroom, 5000 Rogers Ave, Ft Smith. All Eagle Scouts are encouraged to attend. The purpose of our meeting is for Eagle Scouts to become re-acquainted with Scouting and to network with other Eagle Scouts in the area.
The Westark Area Council was recently approved to form a National Eagle Scout Association Committee. Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America. Nationally, only 4% of all those who enter Scouting achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Eagle Scout status is considered by many to be an indicator of reputable character, self-confidence and strong leadership skills.
