Carroll County Airport Terminal Nears Completion

Carroll County’s new airport terminal could open as soon as Feb. 1.
That’s according to Darlene Strough of Strough Commercial Construction LLC, the contractor on the project. The new terminal, located in Berryville, will be about 2,100 SF and include a meeting room, full kitchen and restrooms, as well as a second-story observation area.
There also are plans for the terminal to house the Berryville Air Museum. Strough said the museum wil include a collection of World War II memorabilia.
The new facility will feature the area’s longest runway – more than 3,500 feet in length, according to Strough. It also will be equipped for night landings.
