Hardy named new CFO of Sparks Health System
Sparks Health System has named Darrell Hardy as the new chief financial officer to replace David Rothenberger who was promoted to Division Two CFO with Health Management Associates.
Naples, Fla.-based HMA is the parent company of Sparks.
Hardy’s duties begin Dec. 15, and he brings more than 30 years of financial experience in the health care field to his new position at Sparks, according to the hospital statement.
Hardy and his family will relocate to the Fort Smith area from Albuquerque, N.M., where he was the CFO of Lovelace Medical Center.
The move brings Hardy back to the Midwest, where he performed his undergraduate studies. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. Hardy also earned a masters in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
