Grub’s Bar and Grille Growing in Fayetteville

Remember that BenchWarmers Tavern and Grill that was – then wasn’t – going to fill the former home of O’Charley’s and Meaux Dad’s in Fayetteville?

Well, we’ve learned another grill – and a familiar one – is going to take over the space that’s been vacant for at least a couple of football seasons now. Grub’s Uptown is the name we’ve heard.

If that rings a bell, you’ve likely visited Grub’s Bar and Grille, the popular spot about a block off Dickson Street. The expansion will give Grub’s a presence in “Uptown Fayetteville,” described on its website as an area offering “a diverse group of local, regional, and national retailers, restaurants, hotels, salons, spas, and entertainment establishments,” among other things.
