Conestoga Wood Specialties Plant Closures

Conestoga Wood Specialties Corp. will be shutting down three of its eight production facilities, including two in Arkansas.
The plants in Jacksonville and Mountain View will be closed by the first week in February and one in Tooele, Utah, will close sooner. Each plant employs about 45 people.
A spokesman for Conestoga, based in East Earl, Pa., said the company regrets having to close the facilities but must because of lower demand.
