The following area residents were among the 40 regular and temporary appointments announced Thursday by Gov. Mike Beebe.
William Coffelt, Fort Smith, to the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists. Appointment expires Oct. 1, 2015. Replaces Floyd Hamm.
David Craig, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Arkansas Student Loan Authority. Appointment expires July 8, 2013.
Brooxine Kidder, Fort Smith, reappointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Appointment expires Sept. 14, 2014.
Jackie Soller, Ratcliff, to the Franklin County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2010. Replaces Benny Lowery, Jr.
