University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Chorale

On Tuesday, October 12, 2010, the Choirs at UA Fort Smith will fill the Arkansas Best Performing Arts Center with music from Africa to England to Germany to Canada to Italy to the United States.  Poets will be represented from Swahili traditions to American icons and the Bible.  The room will come alive with roads not taken and audience members will be challenged to choose stars to follow, watch wheels turning in the air and to even whistle while they work.  From Love songs to Spirituals to some of the greatest poetry ever written and set to music, you will hear choral sounds from outstanding young musicians at their best.

Come join the UA Fort Smith Chorale, Women’s Chorus and Jazz Catz as they give you a concert that promises to be memorable.  Dr. Rager H. Moore II, Director of Choral Activities invites you to an extravaganza sure to please your ears and bring joy to your heart.
