Judge Isaac C. Parker’s Birthday Party

Judge Isaac C. Parker invites you to his 172nd birthday party Friday, October 15th, at the Fort Smith Museum of History.  The Judge and Mrs. Parker will arrive by carriage at 5:00pm, and young ladies from Girls, Inc. will provide the traditional birthday song for the Judge.  Guests will receive birthday cake and punch and a chance to visit the Judge Parker’s courtroom display on the second floor of the Museum until 7:00pm.  The Judge will be happy to discuss his 21-year tenure on the bench in Fort Smith, his dedication to public schools, and why he supported allowing women to vote and hold political office in the Indian Territory.  This is a wonderful way to celebrate the history of one of our most famous citizens while you share a fun evening with the family.  For more information, please contact the Fort Smith Museum of History at 783-7841.
