ATU-Ozark summer enrollment up 53%
Enrollment for the summer II semester on the Ozark Campus of Arkansas Tech University reached 375, up 130 students from the 2009 period.
Summer enrollment growth is mutually beneficial in that it allows students to graduate on a faster track which, in turn, creates more enrollment opportunities for other students seeking to complete a higher education, according to a statement from ATU-Ozark.
The summer enrollment growth reflects the concerted efforts of the nontraditional college student to accelerate completion of their degree requirements enabling them to be workforce ready, said Bruce Sikes, chief academic officer.
