Popular NWA Church Eyes Expansion

We recently wrote about the leaders of First Baptist Church of Springdale and The Church at Pinnacle Hills, and their plan to expand into Fayetteville.

The basics: Nick Floyd, son of FBCS preacher Ronnie Floyd, will serve as campus pastor at the 15,750-SF retail center that will house the new operation.

Some additional details: The center, to be named The Shoppes at Wedington, will rest on 2.2 acres and be built by Fayetteville’s C.R. Crawford Construction. It will be across the street from another Crawford project, the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

We also understand that while church leaders might be leasing space initially, a more traditional church-like structure might be built at a later date. A similar plan was followed at TCPH.
