Ballpark Readies Suites For Corporate Rentals

It’s always a beautiful day to catch a ballgame involving the Northwest Arkansas Naturals – but that seems especially true judging by the private, climate-controlled comfort of an Arvest Ballpark luxury suite.

Just imagine plopping onto a comfy couch to watch future big leaguers bat away while flipping channels on a nearby television before pausing to study a lengthy menu that includes grilled chicken fajitas, BBQ beef brisket and Italian sausage.

Toss in tickets, parking passes, wait staff service and wireless Internet access, and it’s enough to make even the most passionate of fans root for a rain delay.

Of course, (and as Eric Edelstein, general manager, recently demonstrated for us) if you want to watch a baseball game and mingle, you can do that, too, via the outdoor seats opposite each suite’s sliding glass door – the same doors that bring a chill to warm days, heat the chilly ones, and protect spectators from careening foul balls.

Frank Novak, marketing and public relations manager for the Naturals, is actively marketing suites to would-be renters. He explained that fans can rent suites out for a variety of lengths – from a quarter or more of the season to just one game.

Renting out a luxury suite for the entire season costs $35,000. Single-game rentals are $1,000 on Fridays plus a handful of select days, and $800 at other times. A suite catering credit of $50 rises to $250 on Friday nights, which Novak said tends to be a popular time for luxury suite sales.

The ballpark is home to 25 luxury suites, 20 of which are reserved for the remainder of the season. The other five are available for nightly rentals. Each suite is 480 SF. Each seats up to 25 people.

Over the course of 70 home games, Edelstein told us that luxury suites work for a variety of occasions – from birthday parties all the way to staff/client appreciation opportunities.
