Area men reappointed to state councils

Several men from the Fort Smith region were included in 25 appointments announced Thursday (May 27) by Gov. Mike Beebe.
Reappointed to the Wine Producers Council were, Robert Cowie, Paris; Dr. Michael Post, Altus; Paul Post, Altus; and, Al Wiederkehr, Ozark.
These reappointments expire March 1, 2013.
Also, Alan Carlisle of Fort Smith and Vernon McTeer of Van Buren were reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board. The appointments expire April 1, 2015.
