A clothing store touting affordable fashion for young women is set to open in the Northwest Arkansas Mall in May.
Maurices, which is wholly owned by Dress Barn Inc., will occupy a space of about 4,200 SF. The space had been occupied by Casual Corner and, more recently, Arty Crafty. Arty Crafty is moving to the space previously used by B. Dalton Booksellers.
According to published reports, Maurices enjoyed a 12 percent sales increase to $164 million for its 750-plus stores nationwide in its second quarter. Arkansas currently has 14 Maurices locations.
