Red Cross Babysitter Training

Launch your babysitting career with the help of the American Red Cross! If you are 11 to 15 years old and want to become a babysitter, you can get the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-aged children through Babysitter’s Training. This course includes a participant handbook, video, activities, hands-on training and group discussion on the following topics:

• Managing young children

• Making decisions under pressure

• Recognizing safety and hygiene issues

• Feeding, diapers and care for infants

• Communicating with parents to learn household rules

Students must pre-register for class at redcrossnwa.org.
Please bring a sack lunch; our office has a refrigerator, microwave, and soda machine.
