Mellow Mushroom fans rejoice, a second location is sprouting in Rogers. The successful restaurant that opened in Fayetteville in November 2008 is looking at a location in Village on the Creeks.
The Atlanta-based pizza franchise has steadily been at the top of Fayetteville’s dine-in pizzerias in terms of restaurant sales, so we’re betting a Roger’s location will have similar success.
The plan is for Mellow Mushroom to take over the space currently occupied by Soho Clothiers, which will relocate to another space in the development.
That could be good news for Village on the Creeks, the developer of which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last February. The retail and office park is now owned by Arvest Bank, which held the $27.3 million note on the development.
