Goodman named president of Mercy Clinic

Dr. Cole Goodman has been named president of St. Edward Mercy Clinic effective Jan. 25. Goodman will serve in an administrative capacity for the Clinic by serving as president and in a clinical capacity by continuing to provide inpatient wound care services.

“I am very proud to accept this position,” Goodman noted in a statement. “It enables me to work even more closely with my fellow physicians as we strive to make St Edward Mercy Medical Center continuously better. It allows me to actively pursue one of my passions, which is to keep and bring the finest physicians available to serve the greater Fort Smith region.”

Goodman, who has been practicing in the River Valley for more than 30 years, is a graduate of both Northside High School and the University of Arkansas. He received
his medical degree from the Arkansas School of Medicine

Goodman also is a Fort Smith City Director and a board member for the Fort Smith Boys Club.
 
The clinic is located at 7001 Rogers Ave. in the St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. The St. Edward Mercy Clinic operates three physician offices and employs more than 70 physicians.
