Crawford Compiles Impressive Projects List

Astute readers probably were able to discern the fact most commercial contractors aren’t keen on coughing up their yearly revenue totals (see list, p. 14).

And we get it, to some extent. Construction is a fiercely competitive industry these days.

That said, we were pleasantly surprised with the willingness the folks at C.R. Crawford showed during interviews for this issue’s cover story on their firm. Granted, it took some gentle prodding, but C.R. Crawford eventually offered a glance at 15 of the projects that are representative of the scope of its work.

As it turns out, we didn’t have room for the fancy-pants chart we first envisioned. Still, we find it worth noting the 15 projects ranged from car washes and grocery stores to banks and university buildings.

Equally impressive for a firm barely four years old is the fact those 15 projects total more than 400,000 SF and about $40 million.

The only real reluctance C.R. Crawford showed before divulging those numbers was due to the concern it would come across as bragging. Our thought, though, is the same one espoused long ago by none other than Dizzy Dean: “It ain’t bragging if you can do it.”
