Uptown Properties LLC of Fort Smith recently purchased the Rex TV & Stereo location in Springdale for $800,000. The 12,220-SF property was constructed in 1988. It is located at 4400 S. Thompson St. Rex Radio and Television Inc. purchased the property in 1994 for $545,667. John Canterbury is the registered agent for Uptown Properties.

Rex, headquartered in Ohio, began closing its retail stores in 2009.
