Griffin Agents Eye Weichert Expertise
The parties involved in the recent merger of Weichert Realtors – Clark Long & Associates and The Griffin Company were predictably excited about many things.
The groups announced the merger on Dec. 10.
But Gary Griffin, who will serve as principal broker for the new company, Weichert Realtors – The Griffin Company, was especially eager for his employees to take advantage of what he called Weichert’s “cutting edge” benefits in industry tools and systems. That includes Internet technology, in which Griffin said Weichert has invested about $18 million over the last two years.
Carter Clark, who will serve along with Brandon Long and Philip Taldo as the new company’s executive brokers, confirmed Weichert’s commitment to technology and continuing education for agents. Clark said Weichert’s direct and indirect training programs are invaluable.
Agents at the newly formed organization will get a chance to experience that firsthand in January, when Clark said a member of Weichert’s corporate team will be in Northwest Arkansas for a week-long training session. Each agent is expected to receive 30 hours of specialized training.
Weichert also offers more than 100 online courses to help its associates improve and enhance their skills.
“Everybody benefits from that kind of training,” Clark said. “It makes our associates more effective, which benefits our customers.”
The new company’s Web site will be www.weichertgriffin.com.
