American Sign Language I

Ever wanted to learn how to sign your name? This class introduces you to the language of the Deaf world by learning the manual alphabet, numbers, and basic vocabulary. By the end of the course you should be able to have a basic conversation in sign. Course fee includes the textbook required for the class. No prior knowledge of American Sign Language is required.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. February 9 – April 6 (skip March 23) at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith.
