Underwood Plaza to Get Three New Tenants

Our favorite Northwest Arkansas entertainment district is getting some new additions in the spring, in the form of coffee, yogurt and Italian food.

All three are coming to Underwood Plaza on Fayetteville’s famed Dickson Street. Two of the businesses – Spiedini Italian Grill and Big Momma’s Coffee and Espresso Bar – actually will be located on the lower level of Underwood Plaza, which exits onto Powerhouse Avenue.

Spiedini formerly was located in Rogers, while Big Momma’s is a part of a regional chain of coffee shops. Build-out construction at both is expected to begin in early December and be completed in about 90 days.
Orange Tree, a self-serve frozen yogurt operation, meanwhile, will be located on the second floor of the building and have its storefront facing Dickson Street. Orange Tree touts itself as the fastest-growing yogurt chain in the country.

Customers at Orange Tree pick a cup of their choice in size, then dispense their preferred flavor of yogurt and add toppings as desired. The price is determined by weight.

All three businesses reportedly have signed lease agreements.
