UAFS students advance in singing program

Four University of Arkansas at Fort Smith voice students placed in the finals of the Southern Region Student Auditions of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, held at Harding University in Searcy.

The finalists were Iva Lowe of Bryant with first place, Zach Bettencourt of Van Buren with third place, Dalton Jones of Fort Smith with fourth place and Chase Mote of Van Buren, with sixth place.

Lowe advanced in both classical and musical theatre categories.
