Goodwill Growing

A new Goodwill attended donations center is expected to open – perhaps as soon as December – at the Shoppes at Wedington in Fayetteville.

Ginny Wiedower, director of marketing and communications  at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, confirmed the plans, and said another Goodwill location also could be in the works for Fayetteville. Wiedower said any additional location most likely would include retail space and possibly a job center.

Goodwill also is moving its Springdale store from 1860 W. Sunset Ave. to 3157 W. Sunset Ave., the current home of Today’s Office. Wiedower said the new Springdale location will include a donation center, retail space and job center, and is expected to open in December. Today’s Office has moved to 800 Clayton Street, according to its Web site.
